Results from June 3

Thanks to everyone who made it for the quiz last night! Following the trend for this league, we had a really close night, with the 8th round determining our victor. Sharing 4th place were our current #1 and #2 in overall points, Lee Carvallo’s Putting Challenge (playing as Bowe Bergdahl’s Vacation Policy Challenge) and Suck It, who each scored 64.5 and earned 3.5 league points (an average of the 4th and 5th place points) for their efforts. A new team, ANZACS, took third with 66 and selected Famous Dictators as the third place round for next week. With 70 overall for the night, Tuesday Heartbreak took 2nd for the second week in a row and earned 6 league points and $25 off their bar tab. But our victors last night were Genius Club (playing as “We Are Felt Everywhere #YesAllMuppets”), with 71, taking home their first win of the season and earning 8 points and $50 off their tab while doing so. Best team name was not a very well-contested prize last night, but “We’re So Pale Even Donald Sterling Would Say We Could Use Some Color” earned themselves some shot glasses and a bag full of dinosaurs.

I’ll be back with you next week for the Famous Dictators round, and if you want to partake in Mehrun’s World Cup Challenge, you can either download the form as attached in the previous post or grab one from me next week.
