…don’t be surprised if you see some nostalgic rounds mixed in there. We’ll keep it wacky. We’re just going to try to have a fun time befitting of the end of an era.
And don’t forget to join our facebook group to stay up to date (and give suggestions if you have any) on where we go next to continue this wonderful trivia night we’ve been honored to host over the past few years: https://www.facebook.com/groups/1499599933676121/
See y’all tomorrow! Let’s have some fun.
Tomorrow is my last solo day of hosting trivia at Stetsons. Eek. It’ll be a semi-sad occasion (although it’ll be even sadder, but probably more of a party, next week for our jointly hosted grand finale). Also, next week will be liable to be freeform, with all the rules going out the window (though still no cellphones, I can’t emphasize that enough), so if you want one last classic format with all the normal rounds, tomorrow’s your chance.
Last week we had a great showdown with three of our outstanding regular teams – best known as Suck It, Too Many Clues, and South Africa – going 1, 2, 3 at the top, in that order. And South Africa requested a round on Bravo reality TV stars/personalities (after initially thinking they’d do Latin American literature), so that’ll keep things classy tomorrow in round 5. A couple other hints to get you going:
And who knows, I may put a bonus hint here before tomorrow night…looking forward to seeing y’all there tomorrow night.

Here are a few hints for tomorrow, my penultimate solo night of hosting at Stetsons! Remember first, that there will be a third-place round on “International Trade.”
See y’all tomorrow! And don’t forget to join our facebook group to stay up to date with our quest for a new home.
First of all, thank you all for your support as we must now come to terms with the closure of Stetsons at the end of October. It’s definitely the end of an era, but I really appreciate your encouragement and assistance in finding a new venue for our quiz to continue into the future. We’ll talk more about that tomorrow!
Speaking of which, I should let you know our remaining schedule while we’re at Stetsons. Due to a previously determined travel schedule, we’re mixing things up a bit, so here’s the hosting agenda as it stands:
Tomorrow, 9/22: Me.
9/29 and 10/6: Brian. (Round 2 is literature then)
10/13 and 10/20: Me. (Round 2 is sports then)
10/27: Both of us, for our grand farewell to Stetsons, in which…not even we know what the H the format will be. NO RULES!
Anyway, back to hints for tomorrow. In case you missed it, the 3rd place choice round will be on Napoleon (not only the man, but also a few other Napoleon references may be sprinkled in). And a few more hints:
See y’all tomorrow!
First, thanks for packing the house last Tuesday. After you all had to sit through my singing in the music round (which thankfully you won’t tomorrow), “Birthright Citizenship for Pandas!”–aka Too Many Clues–sent off longtime regular Nicole with a victory by scoring a perfect 10 on the final round to edge out “My Two Biggest Fetishes: Ashley Madison and ‘Leaking'”, 67.5 to 65.5. “The Donald Doesn’t Need Your Help to Cheat” finished third with 55, and earned the right to choose a round on Monty Python movies for tomorrow.
Speaking of tomorrow, here are a few more hints:
See y’all then!
Here are a couple hints for tomorrow! Don’t forget also that the 3rd place choice round is all about Bill Murray, and by request of the departing regular attendee Nicole from team Too Many Clues after that time 2 weeks ago when I ended up singing a bunch of 1993 hints during the tiebreaker, the music round tomorrow will somehow be sung by me, so if you do not like atrocious singing, do not come.
Anyway a couple hints:
See y’all tomorrow!
