In Which I Use This Space To Share Cool But Ultimately Unrelated Links

I know we have a bunch of Wire fans among our regulars (because our regulars are, of course, people of impeccable taste), so I wanted to share this link I came across this afternoon with you guys. The essay is at times quite good, but the really inspired parts are the “scans” of “pages” from the serialized Victorian novel. If someone took the time to rewrite the entire series into a Dickens pastiche, I would absolutely buy and read it.
